My topic will be a game i been playing since i was 13, i am 18 almost 19 now. The game is Final Fantasy 11 online also known as FFXI for short. I been hooked on it for years so you can tell i am dedicated to this game a lot. The game was made by Square-soft until April 1st 2003 when they merged with Enix to make Square-enix and kept updating the game and progress to what it is today. The game is Japans most popular Massively multiplayer Online Role playing game.

The game takes place in a world called Vana'diel where three nations are allied together after a great war 20 years ago. Now from what has happened so far in the game is that recent expansion packs that open new content to the game has gone to past to a new land and even to a old city that has been lost for since the war. The population when i play isn't quite high in the game subscription to the game is 12 dollars for one characters and a extra 1 dollar after that for a new character. But all you need is one character because in this game you can change your class anytime you want. I myself has quite a adventure in the game so far and currently working on getting one of the best items or weapon in the games. What hooks most people in this game is that like other Final Fantasy games there is a story. Each expansion pack brings up more stories to play through. Square-enix will be coming out with the next Game that will not have any connection to Final Fantasy 11 it will be a new Online game. Some say it might just take down some of the most popular Online games in America.

I am a huge fan of video games. I probably play my xbox360 every day. The game that i am playing most of the time is Madden. I love playing sports and watching sports, and playing this game is a little of both. Madden comes out with a new game every year and it is based on the NFL season each year. Every year the rosters change, the graphics get better, and some new features are added.

The gaming industry is one of the largest industries in the world. It is amazing how many jobs are provided by this industry. It is in fact the largest industry in the technology world. I believe this is because games can apply to just about anything, there is sports, shooting, educational, racing/driving, life simulators and many other types of games. It is this that makes gaming so attractive to such a wide variety of people.

qStatus is a status updating application for Twitter and Facebook. This application is for Windows users. qStatus is analogous to the iPhone status updating application but has more features such as "a keyboard shortcut (the Windows key + s) which bring up the app in widget form no matter what other app you're using." qStatus supports file sharing, lets you choose your hosting service, and has a built in spell check.
qStatus allow users to update more than one account at a time. For an example, you can update Facebook and Twitter at the same time. You can also send messages out to more than three different accounts at once. In my opinion, qStatus is a great status updating application for Facebook and Twitter users.

Tax time is fraught with enough frustrations, but perhaps a program like Turbo Tax will make it a bit more tolerable. First of all, Turbo Tax has five versions to select from. Depending on your needs, there are options available in their versions for "regular" filing, e-filing, state taxes, even business or rental owners. It can be purchased either in stores or online.

Once the version has been obtained, after downloading the program, registration is required. Then the program can search for previous or compatible versions and the files saved to the computer. This is a handy step-saver. Finally having all of the W-2's and other relevant documents at hand, you can respond to the sets of questions on each sub-topic prompted by Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax will compute the federal taxes for you. It allows changes to be made that can affect the bottom line if some information was initially omitted or incorrect. If desired the state taxes can be extrapolated for an extra $20 which is paid online prior to the computations. In the end, copies of the files can be saved, printed, and prepared for e-filing.

Application Software – Games – Richard Hare – For this blog entry I would like to inform you of the research I conducted regarding Blizzard’s World Of Warcraft. World of Warcraft was created by Blizzard Entertainment, a child company of Activision, and released in 2004. It is a MMORPG or Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game, which has taken the the world by storm and is widely considered the most popular video game of all. Currently World of Warcraft (WoW for short) has more than 11 million subscribers and dominates the online multiplayer market.

The game is either purchased from a video game retailer or downloaded from Blizzard’s online store. Once the game is installed on the players PC, he or she is prompted to subscribe or to enjoy a 10-day trial of the game. The game cost anywhere from $12 to $15 dollars a month depending on how long the player chooses to subscribe. Once the subscription is completed the player then creates their character to enter the world of Azeroth . Azeroth is the digital world of World of Warcraft and is essentially the size of a small planet. There are several types of game play a player can choose to be a part of, but the most common are completing various quests and dungeons with other players to unlock the games story and to acquire items such as armor, weapons, or novelty items such as pets and rideable mounts. Also the player can choose to combat other players in the various battlegrounds included in the game. This is commonly referred to Player vs Player. Blizzard is constantly upgrading and changing the game so the entertainment value of it is endless.
